Shape:  This adaptation of the classic Fedora has a slightly wider, teardrop shape crown.  As a result the crown is slightly lower than our classic Fedora, making for a closer fit.  It has a turned up brim at the rear, that comes down slightly at the front, making it perfect for those really looking to hide from the sun!

This Teardrop version of our Fedora can be rolled.  However, it's wider style makes it less suited for rolling than the standard Fedora or our Folder (which really is the best for rolling).  This means that although it can be rolled, it will be quicker to "develop character" than the other styles and less likely to completely revert to its original shape.  If this is not clear, please feel free to give us a call to discuss this in more detail.

Colour:  Combining unbleached straw with a black band this colour combination does a great job of highlighting the natural, handmade qualities of this hat.

Weave:  The Borges & Scott Signature range of Panamas use very narrow fibres, painstakingly woven into a beautiful lattice structure to ensure supreme lightness, softness and breathability. United Kingdom - Free standard delivery via Royal Mail is offered on all hats to UK destinations.  Standard delivery normally takes 2-4 days. Next working day delivery is also available at checkout.

EU - Free Standard Delivery is offered on all hats to EU countries.  Normally we will send European deliveries with DPD or a local courier on a fully tracked service.  Delivery times vary from country to country - for most destinations it will be 3-7 days from ordering.  We pay all import duties, taxes and VAT for our EU customers.

USA - Free Standard Delivery:  In the USA delivery is free on all hats.  Normally we will send US deliveries with USPS on a fully tracked service.  Delivery times vary - for most destinations it will be 3-7 days from ordering.  An Express USA (2-4 day) delivery service is also available at checkout.  Orders below $900 do not normally attract import duty or taxes.

Rest of the World - If you would like to order from elsewhere, the cost will be displayed as you go through the checkout process. Please be aware, if you are ordering for delivery outside the UK, EU or USA you may need to pay customs duties or import taxes.

We know that finding the right hat can be difficult and getting that perfect fit is important.  So we are committed to being flexible when it comes to returns and exchanges.  If you are not happy with your purchase for any reason, you can return it (within 90 days of receipt) for an exchange or full refund.

If you are not sure what your hat size is, please follow these simple instructions to find your size.

Measure your head at the level you would want the hat to sit at when you are wearing it.  This can vary a little according to your personal preference, but normally it would be across the middle of the forehead, pass a thumb’s width above your ears and around the widest part of the back of your head. 

Use a tape measure or a piece of string to find your size in centimetres.

Once you have the measurement in centimetres, this should be the hat size for you.  You may wish to move up or down one size if you prefer a particularly loose or tight fit.
