Welcome to Borges & Scott, long established producers of high quality Panama hats. We combine the iconic South American hat with the best elements of British quality and style.
All our hats are handmade in Ecuador, meaning they are genuine Paja Toquilla straw hats, the weaving process of which has been designated as an “Intangible Cultural Heritage” item by UNESCO.
Our experienced team in Bristol, England then apply the same craftsmanship, principles and standards when finishing and trimming our Panamas.

We take every step we can to ensure that our Panama hats are made in accordance with high ethical standards.
We are proud to be a member of BAFTS (British Association of Fair Trade Suppliers) and work hard to ensure that our hats are made under fair working conditions at every step.
